Welcome to Calm Compass. By booking or using this service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These exist to ensure transparency, safety, and mutual respect.
1. About the Service
Calm Compass offers non-clinical emotional support for young people aged 11–18. It is not therapy, counselling, or a medical service. Sessions are designed to provide listening, guidance, and emotional reassurance, but do not include diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention.
The service is provided online via secure video call or messaging/email.
2. Who Can Use This Service

Young people aged 11 to 18

For clients under 16, written consent from a parent or carer is required before sessions can begin

Sessions are available to UK residents only
3. Booking & Payment

Sessions are booked via the Calm Compass website.

Payments are due in advance and are non-refundable unless cancelled with appropriate notice (see below)

Payments are processed securely via Wix.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled with 24 hours’ notice

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full

If Calm Compass needs to reschedule, you will be offered a new time at no extra cost
5. Confidentiality & Safeguarding
Sessions are confidential, but:

If there is a concern for a young person’s safety (e.g. risk of harm to self or others), safeguarding procedures will be followed

This may involve contacting a parent, carer, school, or relevant authority

Calm Compass follows UK safeguarding legislation and best practice
6. Conduct & Boundaries

Calm Compass provides a safe, respectful space. Abuse, hate speech, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated

The practitioner reserves the right to end a session or refuse future bookings if professional boundaries are violated

Sessions must be attended in a private space free from distractions, especially for video calls
7. Technology & Security

Clients are responsible for having a stable internet connection and device access

Calm Compass uses secure video platforms and email, but cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality in digital communications

Please avoid sharing highly sensitive or emergency information via email or unsecured messaging
8. Emergencies & Crisis Support
Calm Compass is not a crisis service.

9. Intellectual Property
